HELPS began in 1991 out of a desire of home schooling parents to have a Christ-centered support network in the Warsaw area.  The goal today is to assist members in their effort to raise mature, discerning, Godly young people in a home education environment.
  

Why Home School?
  

If you surveyed ten different homeschool families you would possibly hear ten different reasons why they homeschool.  It could be for religious reasons, a desire to shelter their child from unnecessary peer pressure and influence, or it could be they choose homeschooling because it offers a unique opportunity to expand beyond traditional education methods. 

Homeschooling isn’t necessarily for everyone and not all of life’s situations make it possible.
